Chatellerault Manufactured M1891 Mosin Nagant Rifle

Russian M.91 Infantry Rifle manufactured by Chatellerault in France.  This rifle subsequently served with the Finnish Military as evidenced by the Boxed SA Property stamp on the left side of the receiver.  Records are unclear on the Finnish Service Rifles, but this is likely a battlefield pickup that was in good enough condition to simply clean, stamp, and re-issue to the Finnish Military that were locked in combat against the Russians during WWII.

Overall, the rifle is in Good condition.  The wood shows scars and repairs from decades of military service and the bore is Good with some light pitting ahead of the chamber.  Muzzle is counterbored in typical Russian fashion.

Bolt matches barrel shank serials, magazine and buttplate do not match.
