1917 BSA ShtLE III* Rifle

This is one of the simplified wartime III* rifles that dispensed with the volley sights, magazine cut-off, and incorporated newly designed parts to speed production and reduce cost.

It is stamped F.T.R on the wrist socket indicating that it's been through at least one Factory Thorough Repair.

Cal .303 British with frosted bore. Bore has fouling in the grooves, and frosting on the lands, but is serviceable and really needs a serious cleaning and some range time.

No visible import marks.
